Terms of Service
These terms set out the agreement between you ("you", "the customer", or "the couple") and AisleReply (a service of Validus Media Ltd, company 08013355, "we", "us"). By using AisleReply, you agree to these terms.
1. What we provide
AisleReply is a managed WhatsApp RSVP service. We set up a digital assistant for your wedding, send WhatsApp messages to your guests, collect their replies, and present the results to you in a dashboard. The exact features depend on the plan you choose (Essential, Standard, or Premium) - see our pricing page for the current details.
2. What you provide
To use the service, you need to provide:
- Your guest list (names and phone numbers, plus any optional details)
- Your event details (date, location, what's happening when)
- Confirmation that you have permission to contact each guest by WhatsApp
- Payment of the agreed fee
You confirm that the guests on your list have given you their phone numbers willingly and would reasonably expect to be contacted about your wedding. You take responsibility for the accuracy of the guest list.
3. Pricing and payment
Our pricing is on the homepage. Pricing is one-off (per wedding), not a subscription. Payment is taken in full at the start, via Stripe.
The fee covers everything described in the chosen plan, including the WhatsApp message costs (which we pay to Twilio on your behalf). There are no hidden fees.
4. Refunds
We offer a full refund if you change your mind within 7 days of paying, provided we haven't yet sent invitations to your guests. Once invitations have gone out, we can no longer offer a refund because the costs (message fees, setup time) have already been incurred.
If something goes seriously wrong on our side (e.g., the service is unavailable for a significant time and we can't resolve it), we'll offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.
5. Service availability
We aim for 99% uptime but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third-party providers (WhatsApp, Twilio, Stripe) which occasionally have outages outside our control. We'll always do our best to resolve disruptions quickly.
6. Use of the service
You agree not to:
- Use the service to send unsolicited marketing, spam, or anything not directly related to your wedding
- Upload guest data you don't have permission to use
- Try to access, modify, or interfere with our systems beyond normal use
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
If you breach these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account without notice. We may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
7. WhatsApp's own rules
We send messages via Twilio, which is an official WhatsApp Business Solution Provider. WhatsApp has its own rules about who can be messaged and how. We follow these rules strictly, which means:
- The first message to any guest must use an approved "utility template" (a pre-approved message format)
- Guests who opt out are immediately removed from further messaging
- We don't send marketing messages or promotional content via your wedding account
If WhatsApp ever suspends or restricts the account on which your wedding is running, we'll work to resolve it quickly but can't guarantee outcomes since the decision is theirs.
8. Your data and your guests' data
Our Privacy Policy sets out how we handle data. In summary: we don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we delete it 12 months after your wedding unless you ask us to keep it.
When you upload your guest list, you are the "data controller" for that guest data, and we process it on your behalf as your "data processor" under UK GDPR.
9. Intellectual property
The AisleReply name, branding, software, and any related materials are owned by Validus Media Ltd. You're getting a licence to use the service, not ownership of any underlying technology.
10. Liability
We do our best to provide a reliable service, but our liability is limited. We won't be responsible for:
- Lost revenue, lost opportunities, or other "consequential" losses
- Issues caused by third parties (WhatsApp outages, internet problems, etc.)
- Errors in the data you provided us
Our total liability to you for any single issue is capped at the amount you paid for the service. None of this limits our liability for death, personal injury, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
12. Ending the agreement
You can ask us to cancel your account at any time. If we end the agreement, we'll give you reasonable notice unless you've breached these terms (in which case we may end it immediately).
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
