Getting started
How does AisleReply actually work?

You give us your guest list (names, phone numbers, which events each guest is invited to). We set up a WhatsApp assistant for your wedding and it starts messaging your guests by name, in their preferred language.

As guests reply, your live dashboard updates with confirmations, plus ones, dietary needs and allergies, song requests, and anything else you've asked the assistant to capture. We chase non-repliers gently. You watch the answers arrive.

How long does setup take?

Usually 1-2 working days from when you give us your guest list. We do all the setup for you, you don't need to configure anything.

How far in advance of my wedding should I start?

Most couples start 8-10 weeks before the wedding, once the guest list is locked in. That gives the assistant time to gather initial replies, send polite reminders to the quiet ones, and have your caterer-ready dietary list by about 4 weeks out.

That said, we've helped couples set up just 2 weeks before the day. It's never too late.

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. They just use the WhatsApp they already have on their phone. The first message arrives like any other WhatsApp message, they reply, and we handle the rest.

How much does AisleReply cost?

Three plans, all one-off (not subscription):

Essential (£149) - up to 100 guests, 1 event
Standard (£349) - up to 300 guests, up to 2 events
Premium (£599) - unlimited guests and events

The fee covers everything including the WhatsApp message costs that we pay to Twilio on your behalf. No hidden fees, no surprises later.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, a full refund within 7 days of paying, as long as we haven't yet sent invitations to your guests. Once messages have gone out, we can't refund (because the costs have already been incurred), but we'd always rather have a conversation about it. See our Terms for details.

Languages and conversation
What languages does it support?

Over 50 languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Polish, Urdu, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Yoruba, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Bengali, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Turkish, Greek, Romanian, Tamil, Gujarati, and many more.

Your guests can reply in their own language and the assistant understands them. You see everything translated into English in your dashboard.

What if a guest asks a question we don't know the answer to?

The assistant doesn't make things up. If a guest asks something it doesn't know (like "is there a vegetarian option at the breakfast?" when you haven't told it), it pauses politely and flags it to you, and only replies once you've given the answer.

So guests never get wrong information, and you stay in the loop on anything important.

What if a guest replies in slang, or makes a typo, or just says something unusual?

The assistant is built to handle natural conversation. It understands "cool, count us in", "yeah definitely", "yes please for the day, can't do the evening", and similar real-life ways people reply.

It only asks for clarification if something is genuinely ambiguous, and it does so gently and warmly.

Your data and privacy
How do you handle privacy and GDPR?

We're UK GDPR compliant. Your data is stored on UK servers. We don't sell or share data with advertisers. We delete your data 12 months after your wedding unless you ask us to keep it longer. Every WhatsApp message we send includes an opt-out option for guests.

Are my guests' phone numbers safe?

Yes. We use them only to message your guests on your behalf, never for marketing or any other purpose, and we delete them when your wedding's done. We never share contact details with third parties beyond what's needed to send the WhatsApp messages (via Twilio, which is the official WhatsApp partner).

During the wedding planning
Can I see what guests will see before I commit?

Yes, try the interactive demo. You'll play the guest's role through a real RSVP conversation, exactly as your guests would experience it.

Can I edit my guest list after we've started?

Yes. Add new guests, remove ones who can't make it, or update details at any time through your dashboard. The assistant adjusts on the fly.

Can I see the actual conversation each guest had?

Yes. Every conversation is in your dashboard, exactly as it played out, in the original language and translated to English. You can scroll back through any guest's chat at any time.

What happens after the wedding?

You can export the final guest list (including all dietary needs, song requests, anything you captured) for your records. We keep your account active for 12 months in case you need to refer back, then delete it. You can request earlier deletion any time.

Can I use AisleReply for events other than weddings?

Right now we focus on weddings, it's what the assistant has been specifically tuned for. If you have a different kind of event (a large birthday, a corporate gala, a charity dinner) and you're curious, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
